Creative direction, copywriting & production for Ascential Events’ retail portfolio (& beyond)

360 marketing and advertising campaign copy, strategy, TOV, creative direction and creative production for the UK's largest trade retail shows.

These projects fell within my role as Creative Producer at Ascential Events Group where I was responsible for all creative and copy output (online, print and onsite) for Spring Fair and Autumn Fair for over eight show seasons, as well as input for other large-scale events across the business including: BETT (education) | Glee (gardening), RWM (renewables) | Pure (fashion) | Jewellery & Watch | The Energy Event.

With a huge focus on lead generation, conversion and retention marketing, I helped grow both exhibitor and visitor numbers YoY while developing and delivering original, WGSN trend-led creative and branding (including multiple rebrands) across the live events, digital and print.

As well as developing, art directing and producing the campaign creatives for print and digital assets, I was responsible for the branding and theming across the entirety of the live events. I oversaw, produced and directed the look and feel of live event brand activations; showcases, catwalks, cafes, VIP areas, entrance halls, digital welcome banners, functional signage, brand messaging and beyond. Consulting on everything from carpet colour, stage design and furniture choices, to video and photography production, social media output and email and SMS pushes.
